We'd love to tell you more about how Jesus can change your life.
Before the world began, the eternal Son of God existed with the Father in heaven. Then, in an act of love and humility, He stepped into human history. Jesus is God in human form, fully divine and fully human. He entered our world not as a ruler in a palace but as a baby born to a young virgin named Mary through the power of the Holy Spirit (John 1:1; Philippians 2:5–11; Matthew 1:20). He walked dusty roads, faced temptation, felt sorrow, and experienced joy just like us.
But Jesus did not come only to live among us. He came to rescue us. The Bible says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Our sin separates us from a holy God. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. Through His death on the cross, He paid the penalty our sin deserved so that anyone who believes in Him can be forgiven and set free. His resurrection proved that death does not have the final word.
Everywhere Jesus went, He changed lives. He freed Mary Magdalene from darkness (Luke 8:2), called a dishonest tax collector named Matthew to follow Him (Matthew 9:9), and turned a fisherman named Peter into a bold leader of the faith (Matthew 4:18). For more than two thousand years, He has continued to transform hearts and lives all over the world, and He can do the same for you.
After His resurrection, Jesus returned to heaven, where He now sits at the right hand of God the Father (Romans 8:34). From there, He intercedes for us, hears our prayers, and reigns as Lord over all.
And the story is not over. Jesus Christ will receive you if you come to Him. He said, “Whoever comes to me I will never drive away” (John 6:37). Your past does not disqualify you. Your doubts do not surprise Him. He offers forgiveness, peace, and a new beginning to all who will surrender to His lordship and put their trust in Him.
Jesus is the Son of God who came to reveal God’s love and to restore our broken relationship with Him. He lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again so that we could have forgiveness and eternal life.
No matter your past mistakes or present fears, Jesus offers a new beginning. Through faith in Him, your sins are forgiven, your heart is made new, and you are brought into God’s family.
The Bible says in Romans 10:9, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Following Jesus means turning from our old ways and trusting Him completely, believing that His death and resurrection have the power to change our lives forever.
If you’re ready to take that step, you can talk to God right now in prayer. The words below are not magic; what matters is the sincerity of your heart.
Prayer:
“God, I know that I have sinned. I’m asking for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again so I can have new life. I trust in Jesus alone as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me and making me new. Amen.”
If you’ve surrendered your life to the lordship of Jesus, that is the most important decision you’ll ever make. Following Jesus isn’t a one-time moment—it’s a lifelong surrender. And you don’t have to walk this road alone.
Here are a few ways to take your next steps in faith:
1. Tell someone.
Share with a friend, pastor, or family member that you’ve surrendered to Jesus. Telling others strengthens your faith and opens the door for encouragement and accountability.
2. Start reading the Bible.
Begin with the Gospel of John to see who Jesus is and what He taught. As you read, ask God to help you understand and live under His lordship day by day.
3. Talk with God.
Prayer is how you stay close to Him. You can thank Him, confess your struggles, and ask for strength to follow wherever He leads.
4. Connect with a church community.
You were never meant to walk this journey alone. Find a church where you can grow in faith, serve others, and live out your new life in Jesus.
5. Keep surrendering daily.
Faith is not about perfection but direction. Each day is a new opportunity to lay down your will and trust Jesus to lead your life.
